5. Google Adwords
sonatech.de uses the online advertising program “Google AdWords” and within the framework of Google AdWords the Conversion Tracking. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad delivered by Google where the advertiser has opted-in to tracking. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for identification purposes. If this cookie has not yet expired when the user visits certain pages of Sonatech’s website, Google and Sonatech can recognise that the user has clicked the ad and proceeded to that page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different Cookie. Cookies can therefore not be traced via the websites of AdWords customers. We use the information collected by the conversion cookie to provide aggregate conversion statistics to advertisers who have opted in to conversion tracking. Customers find out the total number of users who have clicked on their ad and were forwarded to a conversion tracking tag page. However, they do not receive any information which can personally identify its user. Users who do not wish to take part in tracking can easily deactivate the Google conversion tracking cookie in their Internet browser in the user settings. These users are not included in conversion tracking statistics. You can find out more about Google’s privacy policies.
